A nice piece of news from London. EU Business News — the business publication that runs the long-running German CEO Excellence Awards programme — has named Thimo Buchheister a 2025 winner.
The citation on the winner page sums up the recognition cleanly:

Recognition is at the CEO level — it sits with the person, not the entity — though the citation makes clear the recognition is for the work ThreeB IT does.
What this means to us
Two things, mostly:
It anchors the story we've been telling: that a Microsoft-stack, .NET-focused software house built in a town of forty thousand in North Rhine-Westphalia can do work of European interest — for logistics customers, for healthcare platforms, for the digital transformation pile-up that German Mittelstand is still working through.
It belongs to the team, not the title. The recognition is officially of the CEO, but the work that warranted it is six years of design reviews, deployments at 3 AM, refactors that nobody saw, and customer calls that nobody enjoyed.
